The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In tests, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.

The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors, and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch television without interruption. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and move on if it comes across one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden from view and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something is in need of attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session being cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features however they can make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
